Open the Icy Gates: Ice Castles Invites Guests to Experience Winter Magic
The wait will soon be over for the return of Minnesota’s
original and premiere winter attraction located at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds!
The icy gates will open this Friday, January 3 at 6 p.m.
Ice artisans have been battling the recent warm
temperatures by working around the clock to get the
attraction ready for guests to start the New Year.
Guests will be able to step into magic and wonder with a
landscape filled with ice slides, towers, tunnels and
caverns. Explore stunning new sculptures crafted by
internationally renowned ice sculptors. Every element is
designed to immerse visitors in a whimsical, fairy-tale
environment.
New this Season, the icy fortress adds an ice river, snow
caverns and nightly fire shows that will add a clash of fire
and ice as flames dance amidst the Ice Castles backdrop.
Enjoy a Minnesota State Fair signature Pronto Pup, along
with hand crafted cocktails at our Polar Pub Ice Bar.
