New Activities For the 2025 Season Include Kids Discovery Zone and Classic Yard Games, bringing even more family fun to the 300-acre adventure park!

LEMONT, IL (December 9, 2024) —  The Forge: Lemont Quarries, a top destination for family-fun adventure located 22 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, is set to expand with three new outdoor activities: an 18-hole miniature golf course, a nature-inspired Kids Discovery Zone and additional, enhanced yard games. These activities join an already action-packed roster of activities at The Forge: Lemont Quarries including climbing, ziplining, kayaking, laser tag, archery, axe throwing and more. 

The Forge has partnered with Adventure Golf & Sports (AGS), a global leader in miniature golf installation, and will begin construction this spring. Designed to cater to players of all ages and skill levels, the interactive course is poised to become a destination for family outings and group entertainment.

The 300-acre park will also debut the Kids Discovery Zone, a play area designed to encourage children's connection to nature and foster motor skills. This thoughtfully crafted space will include interactive elements, from climbing structures and stepping stones to water features and tactile surfaces perfect for children ages 3-12.

Additional yard games will be introduced for the 2025 season, including Bocce Ball, Gaga Ball, Horseshoes and more. These classic games will join existing activities including Cornhole and a supersized Connect Four, providing friendly competition for Chicago-area families, social outings or corporate events.
