The U.S. acro delegation won gold in nearly every division and earned 11 medals at the Flanders International Acro Cup (FIAC) in Puurs-Sint-Amands, Belgium, over the weekend.
Gymnasts in the 12-18 age group collected five medals during the weekend’s competition, tallying three golds overall. Maya Lissenkova (Las Vegas, Nev./AGC Las Vegas) and Bernice Moshos (Las Vegas, Nev./AGC Las Vegas) secured gold with a 26.920 just ahead of Belgians Lena Baumer and Ella Van Vlierberghe in second (26.550) and Americans Layla Bakken (Riverside, Calif./Incentive – AGT) and Jenesys Sikorski (Perris, Calif./Incentive – AGT) in third (26.480). The American mixed pairs of Rylee Cummins (Moreno Valley, Calif./Incentive – AGT) and George Yeramishyn (Riverside, Calif./Incentive – AGT), and Layla Lugo (Chandler, Ariz./Aspire Kids Sports Center) and Tyler Berg (Phoenix, Ariz./Aspire Kids Sports Center) went 1-2 in final competition for gold (25.930) and silver (25.000). Layla Livingstone and Angus Davidson of Great Britain were third with a 23.820.
