‘Whole Kids 2022’ event to kick-off summer Recreation Worcester programming and all other summer programming in Worcester
Worcester –City of Worcester to kick-off summer programming by partnering with local youth serving agencies to offer registration opportunities at family friendly events.
“Whole Kids 2022” will be a chance for Recreation Worcester and community partners to inform and recruit families for the community offerings and resources this summer. As the city’s Division of Youth Opportunities transitions into the summer camp season, this event will offer the opportunity to recruit young people and their families to take full advantage of the resources that will be available during the summer months.

WHEN: 11-4 p.m., Sunday, May 21st, 2022.
“Whole Kids 2022” is part of the City Manager’s initiative Recreation Worcester and will offer food trucks, music, games and a special appearance by the Special Olympics
ABOUT RECREATION WORCESTER
Recreation Worcester’s summer program is a free program for kids ages 7-13 featuring sports, exercise, educational, and arts activities from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. This year’s program has been extended 3 additional weeks and will run from Tuesday, June 21st to Tuesday, August 29th.
The summer program is now in its seventh year. A companion after-school program is now moving into its sixth year. More than 10,000 young people have attended the program since its inception.
Community partners will once again help facilitate free educational activities throughout the summer. Partners include:
