As ski and ride season begins to wind down in Colorado, Vail Resorts’five Colorado resorts announced today plans for their summer operations. Crested Butte will kick off the summer season and on-mountain operations on June 11, followed by Vail Mountain andBreckenridge on June 17, Beaver Creek on June 18, and Keystone on June 22.
All five Colorado resorts will offer scenic lift/gondola rides, bike hauls, and a variety of activities. Epic Discovery is returning to Vail and Breckenridge, offering expanded family-friendly activities including alpine slides, mountain coasters, summer tubing (Vail), ropes course (Breck), bungee trampolines and more. Keystone and Crested Butte’sBike Parks are back this year, along with a new mountain bike event at Keystone and a race series at Crested Butte. Beaver Creek and Keystone’s signature golf courses open in May; and Blues, Brews and BBQ returns to Beaver Creek for the first time since 2019.

Epic Pass Provides the Best Value in the Industry
Vail Resorts is committed to making its passes accessible by providing incredible value, flexibility and choice, in exchange for a non-refundable advance commitment. Skiers and riders who want the lowest price and exclusive benefits can purchase passes now. The Epic Local Pass is available for $626 for the 2022/23 season, and the Epic Pass is available for $841, providing unlimited, unrestricted skiing and riding at all of Vail Resorts’ owned and operated resorts. For those who only plan to ski or ride a few days next year, Epic Day Passes allow guests to build their own pass, choosing from one to seven days and whether or not to include holiday access. Epic Day Passes offer savings up to 65 percent compared to lift ticket prices, and new for the 22/23 season, guests can now also pick from three levels of resort access, with prices starting as low as $44 for an Epic 1-Day Pass. All passes include Epic Mountain Rewards, providing Pass Holders 20 percent off on-mountain food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, equipment rentals and more. Pass Holders also receive summer benefits at eligible resorts, including Summer Scenic Gondola rides, 20 percent off on-mountain food, lodging, bike rentals and golf. Guests who purchase an eligible pass by April 21 will receive 10 Buddy Tickets and six Ski with a Friend tickets to bring friends and family at a significant discount.
