It has been nearly a year since I was introduced to Coobie Seamless Bras, and the bra I was given then to review is still is good condition. Especially considering it is worn...a lot! So it is washed...a lot!
I'm still taking crossfit classes, and I still have D-cups. I'm still wearing this bra along with others as a double, sometimes triple team of warriors, fighting against flops and too much bosom movement, while working out. It's a good effort, although these are seamless bras created to be worn for comfort or while lounging around. Although my sports bras have the ability to work alone, some movement causes chaffing. Yes, even with a well fitting bra! I have noticed when doubling up by wearing the lounge bra underneath my sports bra, I prevent the crazy lines and pain from the semi stiff band of a strong, high-impact sports bra against my skin. I don't have that issue all the time, but I never know what the workout of the day is until I arrive at the gym. So, I always have to arrive prepared.
I allow my "girls" to breath while I'm home, but while I'm outdoors that would be inappropriate. Not to mention when you have guests at your home, and the 'at home and comfortable' look may be a bit too much. I like the stability and support of a bra, but I don't want to be reminded I'm wearing one with every move I make.
Coobie Seamless Bras fill a void. When you don't have a need for the additional support underwire bras provide, but still want support, comfort and lift, these are perfect. Styles include:
- Scoopneck (One size: 32A-36D) or (Full size: 38A-42DD)
- V-Neck with Lace (One size: 32A-36D) or (Full size: 38A-42DD)
- Nursing Bra (One size: 32A-36D) or (Full size: 38A-42DD)
- Comfort Bra (S: 30-34) (M: 34-36) (L: 38-42) (XL: 42-48)
- Classic Lace Bralette (S: 28A-32D) (M: 32A-34D) (L: 36A-38D)
REVIEW
I selected the Comfort Bra for review. I previously tried the V-Neck and this time around I wanted something with thicker straps. The bra has soft, stretchable material and feels good against the skin. As pictured below, it comes with removable padding. Although I don't need the padding, I would occasionally use them for "modesty" reasons, if you know what I mean. I wear a 38DD, and ordered the bra in a large. It fits perfectly, is comfortable and provides full coverage. The thick straps are also best for me, because with large, heavy chest, thin straps tend to dig into the shoulders.
