You can still take the kids to summer camp through this comprehensive and fun bike lesson program
Pedalheads is continuing to teach kids between the ages of 3 and 12 how to ride a bicycle safely and with confidence in their learn-to-bike camp, with new health and safety measures in place.
Looking for a fun, safe, and enriching summer activity for the kids? How about supporting them in gaining a new skill that will encourage them to stay active, healthy, and happy not just this summer, but for the rest of their lives? Yes, we’re talking about learning how to ride a bicycle!
To ensure your kids know how to ride securely and safely, try enrolling them in lessons with certified instructors that will help them build a solid foundation for a lifetime of biking.
Since 1995, Pedalheads has taught hundreds of thousands of kids how to ride their bikes. The group offers Bike Camps in Boulder, Broomfield, Denver and Highlands Ranch, with Trail Camps In Denver (Central Park) and Highlands Ranch.
Based on the recent COVID-19 related guidance provided by health officials, there will be some changes at Pedalheads camp this summer. Health and safety measures include physical distancing of children and individual class groups, PPE as recommended by regional health authorities, adjustments to their training equipment to limit cross-contact, and "keep it clean" stations with sanitizers and wipes for hands and equipment.

Their learn-to-ride bike program is best known for helping campers between the ages of 2 and 12 get comfortable with riding safely on the road. In fact, Pedalheads has a proven track record of getting kids off their training wheels and onto two wheels within one week -- an impressive feat! This is due in large part to their incredible instructors, who aim to develop healthy, confident, and independent kids by way of their teaching methods in small classes.
Their bike lesson program includes:
- a progression of six instructional levels
- three-hour half-day camps
- seven-hour all-day camps
- private lessons
- before and after care options
During the lessons, campers will get lots of time on their bikes learning and playing games, navigating obstacle courses, and challenging themselves with a variety of activities in a safe environment. Instructors will also ensure the kids take regular bathroom, snack, and water breaks so that they stay hydrated and engaged throughout the day.
Pedalheads aims to provide an awesome camp experience for kids within a safe, fun, and controlled environment. As campers, your kids are sure to get geared up to be great cyclers in no time!
